-
I invite you to
visit the website for
Red Robinson, someone I
am proud to call my friend. Red is one of the original 7 DJs
to be elected into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in
Cleveland, Ohio, and has been in broadcasting for over 50
years now and still going strong every week with his own
radio show Red Rock Diner on Vancouver’s 650 C-ISL. He also
writes a column for both TV Week Magazine as well as The
Vancouver Sun newspaper, plus appears weekly on Global
Morning News. In addition, he is the ambassador for the
River Rock Casino Show Theatre and is about to have a brand
new theatre at the Boulevard Casino in his name: The Red
Robinson Theatre. What a career and what a guy!

John Govi,
a good friend of Treasure Island Oldies, puts on a great
record collectors show four times a year in Chicago. Many
listeners of Treasure Island Oldies who have gone to John's
shows report that it's a great one to attend. Keep listening
for details of the next show date.
Chicagoland Record Collectors Show.

You should also
visit online, if not in person, the
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
This museum is filled with interesting memorabilia from the
greatest era in music. Another interesting place is the
Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
-
Canada has a
rich history of very talented musicians, songwriters and
performers. Visit the
Canadian Music Hall of Fame
as well as the
Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Both spotlight some of the greats.

I am honoured to
be included as a DJ at the
Rock Radio Scrapbook, a
site filled with over 495 airchecks of disc jockeys from
across Canada and the United States. It is fun to hear radio
and its various personalities in their heyday.
-
One of my

“Mais Oui” Denis has put together a great tribute site for
you to enjoy.
-
My friend Marc Denis, who hosts
a wonderful tribute to CKGM, Montreal, has also started a
tribute to the legendary Top 40 station in Montreal, CFOX
1470. Here is the link:

Over the years,
I have had many guests on the show including
Paul Evans,
Andy Kim,
